Annie Mae Herring

Annie Mae Herring is a British food writer, recipe developer, videographer and content creator with over a decade of experience crafting atmospheric, story-driven culinary content. 

Known for her calming videography style and her ability to weave nostalgia, place, and emotion into every dish, she has built a loyal audience drawn to her blend of comfort cooking, eurocentric seasonality, and warm, intimate storytelling.

Her work is deeply shaped by her heritage- Austrian and Irish influences appearing alongside the British food traditions she was raised with, and by her commitment to championing seasonal produce and the local growers who make that possible. Her recipes celebrate simple ingredients at their best, highlighting the flavours, landscapes, and championing small producers she believes deserve a louder voice.

She lives in the UK with her husband, two children and three giant Norwegian Forest cats, and continues to explore the intersection of food, culture, and home cooking through her long-running Instagram series.  Her first book will be published in Autumn 2026.
